Small, girls handbag from the Wai Wai people of Guyana. A small rectangular bag with a shoulder strap and a triangular envelope flap style lid fastened with a loop which slips oiver a ball. The bag is made of brown seeds, with 'LOVE' in red seeds on the back and front, and on the front there is a knot or ball of red and brown seeds to fasten the bag with. There is a border of green seeds around the opening of the bag; the lid or flap is made of blue seeds with a tip of red seeds with a small loop to fit over the knot. At the point where the lid joins the bag, there is a line of blue seeds and a line of red ones. The shoulder strap is quite broad and is made of brown, red and blue seeds.
