422.211.2 (single) clarinets with cylindrical bore, with fingerholes

Clarinet in B flat, low pitch. African blackwood (grenadilla) body with nickel silver plated keys, ferrules and socket sleeves. Leather pads. Tone holes have ebonite chimneys. Simple system. Four pieces excluding mouthpiece, which is missing. Cork lapped tenons. Lower tenon of upper joint has a hole which corresponds with the first tone hole of the lower joint. Upper joint is stamped: MADE BY/Boosey & Hawkes Ltd./LONDON/33471/...P; Lower joint is stamped: 33471
