Cork lapped tenons. End cap threaded with cork fitting. Head joint and foot joint stamped: RUDALL/CARTE & Co. Ltd/LONDON; Body joint stamped: RUDALL/CARTE & Co. Ltd/23 BERNERS STREET/OXFORD STREET/LONDON/7490; A crown emblem appears above each inscription.
