Tenor oboe, vox humana in F. Fruitwood body. Ivory ferrule. Brass keys with square flat flaps with leather pads. Two joints. Six tone holes. Three keys in lower joint, two block mounted and one saddle mounted. Block mounted steel-sprung G-sharp key in upper joint is a later addition. String lapped tenon. Upper joint is stamped: LONGMAN & BRODERIP/LONDON; Lower joint is stamped: LONGMAN & BRODERIP/NO. 26 CHEAPSIDE/LONDON
