Flute. Ebony body and endcap. Eight block mounted nickel silver keys with saltspoon cups and leather stuffed pads. Nickel silver ferrules with embossed decoration. Five joints. String lapped tenons. Head joint has tuning slide, probably of steel, 40mm in length. Upper joint, lower joint and foot joint are stamped: MILHOUSE/LONDON
