Flute in F. Boxwood body. Ivory ferrules and end cap. Four block mounted silver keys with pewter plugs. Mounts are both turned away and full (round in profile) with brass supports where the key shank lies. Four joints. Head joint stamped: PATENT; and: GOULDING/D'ALMAINE/POTTER & Co./SOHO-SQUARE/LONDON; with a crest emblem above the latter. Upper joint, lower joint and foot joint stamped: GOULDING & Co.
