Flute, bass band flute in B-flat. Ebony body. Reversed head. Six keys. Nickel silver plated keys, ferrules and head joint. Brille key on lower joint.. Ebonite embouchure. Keys are pillar mounted with stuffed leather pads. Body joint is stamped: HAWKES & SON/MAKERS/DENMAN STREET/PICCADILLY CIRCUS/LONDON/5964; with star emblem above and below.
