Part of two piece cover for infant. Rectangular piece of red velvet embroidered in silk yarns in pink, orange, blue and green and decorated in the centrefield with sequins, quatrefoil motifs made of purls, square motifs of couched metal strip (kelingkam) and other gold thread couchwork. A border containing scrolling motifs of similar materials and techniques to the centrefield between straight lines of couched twined metal wrapped thread. Backed with a lining of floral chintz. Covers the body of the child.
