tube skirt

Three panel woman's tube skirt, unsewn. Outer panels are of machine spun artificially dyed multicoloured cotton stripes with two very narrow sotis stripes in black and white. Centre panel is ikat in all over kaif design in yellow, dark brown and rust, with a red stripe at each selvedge. The warp ends of side panels are twined; those of the centre panel are cut at intervals with those remaining twined very loosely together in bunches.
