Red, yellow, muliticouloured patterned rug with white fringing. This rug is derived from the classic 'Djerbi' textile. Similar motifs and styles may be found in Tunisian, Libyan and Algerian textiles and therefore it is often difficult to be specific about the origin of an individual piece. Almond green colour is the classic element in this type of textile. The name 'Djerbi' is thought to be associated with the Tunisian island of Djerba. From the Laghouat Oasis, Algeria.
