Woman’s bodice or halter consisting of a rectangular panel made of several pieces of black fabric folded in half and secured along one vertical edge with buttons, two black, one white, one missing, and string loops. A strap attached to the rear at the top crosses the shoulder and is secured at the front with an embossed aluminium disc and string loop. The strap is decorated with applied metal discs at one end. The front is decorated with three rows of white metal plaques, the top row lozenge-shaped, the two below more or less circular. The rest of the background is filled with applied metal discs and seeds in horizontal rows. Lomi Akha , Northern Thailand, according to Mr McDermott.
