Tube skirt for a woman formed of two lengths of handwoven ikat-patterned handspun cotton cloth, hand-stitched together along one selvedge horizontally as worn, and also along the side seam from top to bottom of the skirt. Main field dyed deep indigo, top and bottom have broad bands of (from edge inwards) indigo, pale blue, brown and natural cream. Next to these bands within the main panel are very narrow bands of the same colours.
