Armlet, gelang kana, part of costume for legong dancer. Made of carved leather decorated with gold paint. At the centre is a piece which projects outwards in the shape of a bird's head with a curved beak and crest. Two small pieces of mirror in this section. Lined with red velvet, the face showing through the apertures in the leather, the reverse of the lining backed with white fabric. Secured with a length of fine cord attached to one end which is wrapped round a button at the other.
