Apron of weft-faced handwoven fine wool in horizontal bands in red, blue, green and black, with three bands comtaining simple supplementary weft patterning in pink. The lowermost band is covered in black velvet, embroidered with motifs of red and brown, blue, pink and lilac flowers. Edged on three sides with black velvet, machine-stitched onto the fabric. The top two corners are turned in at the waist, the top edge hemmed by hand; secured by factory-woven black tape stitched below these corners.
