Red leather woman’s waistcoat lined with sheepskin and trimmed with lambswool in four vertical strips at the front and a further strip around the wide neck opening. Further decorated with vertical strips of green and yellow leather, with mirror set in circular openings and small red leather buttons arranged in bays around the mirror pieces at the back and sides. At the front two leather medallions inset with mirror, one at each side, hang from a leather strip decorated with red leather buttons. At the back a red leather mirror medallion hangs from two plaited red leather cords, decorated with lambswool bobbles and three red leather and mirror elements below. Secured with three leather buttons with tufted wool and plaited leather loops at the front opening.This would be worn in cold weather.
