The flat back formed of three pieces of wood, the soundtable with central soundhole. 19 triple courses of brass bass strings pass over a short bridge on the left hand side and a long bridge on the right. 12 quadruple courses of treble strings pass over three short bridges. A black plastic handle is fixed to the front of the instrument.
