Woman’s warp-faced cotton tube skirt, kain indu’, or kain kebat, in handwoven black cotton cloth decorated with a wide band of designs in supplementary weft in white with one vertical zig zag band in red. To either side of this main panel are bands of warp stripes in plain red, black yellow and white, with embroidered detailing.The warp ends are hand-stitched together to form a tube, so that when worn the stripes would have become horizontal bands.
