Bell-shaped, flat needle case formed of two panels of orange and gold brocade edged with rows of blue and white cord stitched together on a leather base, the needles being stored between. The case is suspended from a leather strap, which divides into two above the case. Below the case is a blue brocade tab, above a coin of George V dated 1917, below which is a long, thick tassel of cords in purples, reds and orange. Needles would have been brought out by pulling the tab, but the case has been stitched shut.
