Decorated egg, 'scrobanki' [translation: ‘scraped egg’]. The egg is red with white floral patterns created by dyeing the egg and scraping off the pattern with a small, sharp knife. The technique is practiced in the Opole area of Poland. Opele area, Upper Silesia, Poland.
