Murchaṅgā heteroglot trump (jew’s harp) made by Biurson Visnu Karma of Kamigau, Gorkha Bajar in 1978. Iron. There is a sound recording of the maker, Biurson Visnu Karma, playing this instrument in 1987, as well as colour and monochrome images of him in the British Library. These audio visual materials were created by the collector, Carol Tingey, when she was working in Nepal in the 1980s. (Reference Material type – AUDIO, reference C1465/22.
