A treble viola da gamba, cornerless model, the one-piece back of medium horizontal curl, the ribs and head of fainter curl, the table of fine even grain, the varnish a golden-brown colour. Labelled Arnold Dolmetsch, Haslemere, No.27 with bow and case. The bow is wood, with an ivory frog. The case is wood with a leather cover and metal clasps.
