A basket with a lid, made from plant fibre and bamboo. The basket has a round base made from woven pieces of plant material, with an edge made of bamboo. The sides of the basket are made from thin strips of plant material spaced evenly. The sides flare out to create a wider rim. The rim is a piece of bamboo. The lid is formed of a circular piece of bamboo, with thin strips of plant material spaced evenly around the edge. Within this there is a smaller bamboo circle, with further thin strips of plant material spaced evenly. Above these are curved pieces of plant fibre to form six petals. In the centre is a further bamboo circle within which there is an area of very intricately woven plant fibres which form a decorative panel.
