Figure of Guanyin (Goddess of Mercy) depicted wearing a long robe, seated on a pedestal with two applique dragons at the front, holding a child on her bent right leg. She is known as 'Songzi Guanyin' (Child-giving Guanyin), and is a popular female deity, worshipped by women who desire to have children. The figure is made of fine porcelain, decorated with overglazed multi-coloured enamel. There is a repair along the waist.
