Seal harpoon head consisting of a metal tip attached to an ivory foreshaft which is decorated with incised detailing. The ivory section is attached to a hide thong which is bound with sinew and vegetable fibre. Another piece of ivory is attached to the hide thong which is movable and might slot into the ivory forshaft.
