pitchi

Shallowly curved, elliptical, single piece of thin wood. Both ends have a hole pierced into them, one with a thin piece of copper-coloured wire twisted through into a loop. Edges are all irregular, particularly at one end where the grain of the wood has resulted in a jagged edge.

Convex side has parallel furrows along the grain of the wood over entire surface. Also on this side towards the hole without the wire are small black capital letters saying "OOLDEA" with indecipherably faded similar text underneath. Concave side is more matt and worn, with various chalky reddish, brownish, grayish residues.
