Ten ebony pegs surmounted by bone pins, bone nut..Purfling on soundboard and back, carved rose in soundhole inlaid with mother of pearl, ten-pointed star. Bone pins and end-pin (with mother of pearl inlay). Sicke-shaped head faced with mother of pearl inlay in the form of a star on a black ground. Ten wire strings: two bass strings as single courses and the other eight as double courses. Replacement bridge. Inscribed in ink at the top of the back: 'Rauche/London 1763.
