Two cast bronze knife-shaped coins, dao bi. Flat with loop on curved handle, both inscribed in archaic Chinese script on obverse side of the the blade with 'ming', meaning bright. On the reverse side, one knife is inscribed with 'zhong', or middle, and the other with 'xing', meaning walk. Minted in the State of Yan, now Beijing, in the late Warring States period, 250-221 BC.
