Case in the form of a cylindrical wooden tube with carved round wooden stopper with pointed finial. The stopper extends inside the full length of the case in the form of a 4-sided wooden shaft, with a wider band near the base. Through this band 4 apertures have been made into which 4 cockspurs would originally have slotted. one is present . A length of twisted wire around the neck of the stopper, ending with a loop. Another length of wire runs along the length of the case inside and out, ending with a loop at the top. The two loops could thus be joined to secure it.
