One of a 32 piece set of wooden chess pieces from The Maldives. One of a pair, made of turned wood, natural colour and varnished. It has a round base and cylindrical body, with a short narrow section below the round top. Engraved using a thin circular banding at three points on the object, at the top and base of the neck and around the top. Each engraving is painted red.
