doll (toy (ceremonial artefacts & rank insignia))

Doll representing one of two members of imperial guard, zuijin, included in the Girls Festival set. This one is U-daijin, who is placed on the right side of the stand as we look at it. He represents power. He wears a sword on his left side. His brocade kimono is patterned in beige, grey, brown and light gold with houou bird. He is wearing an eboshi hat (3.3.48/16iii). The back part of his kimono is decorated in saya-gata design, a variant of the swastika. He holds a bow in his hands and has six arrows on his back. The quiver is decorated with a chrysanthemum design and paper noshi. He sits on a cylindrical stool.
