textile (function unknown); textile

Long, rectangular, light brown, tabby-woven cotton textile decorated with dark brown, blue, and red diamond-patterned bands. The supplementary weft patterned bands are closer together at the top. They become narrower at the bottom, ending in the dotted, framing bands becoming the main bands above the hem. The opposite side has been folded over, and the 2 corners sewn onto the sides. The end of the warp has been plied to create a fringe. A painted wooden rod with metal wire attached at both ends has been pushed through the resulting sleeve for suspension.
