Rectangular piece of embroidered linen textile, a sleeve of a woman's blouse. At the top is a band of blackwork with dense geometic motifs within a diamond lattice. Below this is an orange longitudinal line, which bisects the multi-coloured embroidery such that one side is the mirror image of the other. The patterning, in red, orange, green, blue and yellow, is broadly 'V' shaped. It is framed by a repeating row of embroidery, parallel to the central line, worked in black, red and orange. The selvedges are at the shorter sides.
