Full length chemise for a woman, gathered at the neck with two tassels. Fine, loose, plain-woven, single ply silk fabric embroidered in red cross stitch and some chain stitch in gold silk thread in angular geometrical patterns over the shoulders (design here includes white silk), down the upper arms in narrow rows, down front above waist with four narrow vertyical rows at back above waist, and along the bottom hem; design includes small gold-coloured sequins. Some seams are oversewn in silk thread. L. 44"; W. (inc sleeves) 60".
