Bird-shaped blower for blowing a small charcoal fire by means of a steam jet. The steam emerges at the tip of the pointed spout.

The copper 'firebird' is filled with water and placed on the embers of the fire. The hissing scares away ghosts etc. Used by nomads in Tibet.
