An opium pipe formed of a long length of bamboo with a copper alloy bowl. The stem of bamboo has an end piece made of bone with a small hole in the end. On the length of the stem is a decorative, white metal fixing with a hole, and just along from this is a raised carving. The detachable bowl is cast in copper alloy and is highly decorated. The end of the pipe has a hinged lid with a star shaped hole in the top.
