Pluriarc, original records give name as "nanca". Five stringed musical bow, five bamboo bows held together by a split cane ligature, with a wooden resonator. Five strings of twisted fibre (three missing and the other two badly knotted). Head of resonator covered with wood. One sound hole. West Africa. Coll. 20.5.1890. Crack on front repaired locally. g.
