paper knife

One of three bamboo paper knives. Formed of a section of bamboo, coloured black on both sides, then inscribed with decorative design. Convex face has pine tree, bamboo, mountains and bird in flight. Concave side design, more crudely formed, is of plants and grass. Handle with pierced trefoil shape and one small round hole (for cord for hanging?), and curvilinear outline. Label on concave side reads: 'Japanese 4898.'536 h x 74 w x 9 d.
