Hardwood spear with a conical tip and multiple barbs of increasing length, terminating in four rows of very large barbs. The entire spear is carved from one piece of noko noko wood (Casuarina equisetifolia.) Below the last row of barbs is an extensive ornamental binding of coconut fibre cordage (magi magi).
