A pipe, pipe case and pouch. A small pipe with a brass bowl and mouth-piece with a pouched, scroll design on each. The pipe has a dark, bamboo stem. A pipe case of two interfitting tubes, which has an oval cross section, that is carved from dark wood with a prominent grain. A tobacco pouch formed of a rectangular pouch of black, "crocodile" leather, with red suede lining. There is a flap closure with brass clasp with blackpainted detail; motif of an imaginary aquatic animal called 'mizu sai'. The pipe case is attached to the tobacco pouch with a cord and an ojime between. The ojime is made of pink and white glass, like a marble.
