Small writing set, with compartments for all articles, consisting of small lacquered box containg ink slab, box lid, ink block, a velvet pad with lacquered wood backing (used for blotting ?), a bone pen with a lacquered wood handle, which is also cover, a bone spatula (for mixing the ink ?), tiny box and lid of lacquered wood, containing a bone seal and a compartment with red powder in it.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
