Arm covering for forearm, KOTE, chain of mail sewn on pattern woven cloth backing with occasional circular metal lacquered plates. There are hinged plates for the fore-arm, and small articulated plates to protect the backs of the fingers and thumbs, and there is a braid around the wrist. The whole is attached to the body armour shoulder-straps by braid.
