Covered lacquered stand, daung-lan, for betel. Embellished with moulded thayo decoration, gilded and inlaid with coloured glass on the outer surface. Central, turned support with four supports in the form of reptiles, to-naya. The cover has slightly convex sides and a more or less flat top. Lacquered red on the inner surface and gilded on the outside, with multicoloured inlaid glass inset in patterns. Raised decoration of animals and patterns around the sides.
