Carved bamboo vessel made of a section of large bamboo carved in relief with images of: two men holding implements; three cow's or bull's heads; a snake curled up; and a four-legged animal. Tufts of red hair stick out from holes in some of the carved figures. There is red and yellow plaited cane or rattan around the top and bottom of the vessel, and a plaited loop for suspension at the top. The vessel has a small hole in the top.
The collector's note reads: 'Carved by Chisidongbang Ao of Ungr, Naga Hills'.
