A club or baton, from the former Zaire, Central Africa, with rough representation of an animal's head. The head is carved into the top of the wood and is at the end of a long cylindrical wooden handle. Described by collector as "carving by pygmy in mgamgo wood in imitation of Bantu craftsman".
