A pipe made from a single piece of dark brown wood. The mouthpiece if fluted. The stem is straight with two right angles making the stem double back on itself before leading to a bulbous bowl.
This tobacco smoking-pipe is carved out of a single piece of wood. The pipe appears to be missing its separable mouthpiece, which would have been inserted into the flanged end of the pipe-stem. Having had direct contact with its owner’s body, and therefore containing something of their spiritual essence, the mouthpiece would not have been parted with easily.
