Rectangular wooden container divided into 13 compartments; five of these dividers are decorated with ivory, white metal and mosaic in green, blue and red. Six of the compartments are covered with ivory lids with either one or two larger central openings to fit the ivory containers and smaller holes at the edges as decoration (five of these six lids have broken off the container).
There are five rectangular wooden lids with a small white metal loop handle and decorated with geometric patterning in ivory, white metal and red, green and blue inlaid mosaic. The largest covers the central compartment, the two smallest cover the top corner compartments and the two medium lids cover the side compartments.
There are light blue textile strips used for lifting the container from the base of the work box on the two shorter sides.
