Ruled notebook containing notes relating to the donation of wind instruments to the Horniman Museum in 1945 by Adam Carse. The notebook is in Carse's handwriting and contains notes most likely in preparation for the Carse instruments catalogue. The second page includes a draft of the text for a memorial plate reading: 'The collection of old wind instruments was given to The Horniman Museum in 1945 by ADAM CARSE in memory of his son EDWARD ADAM (PETER) CARSE who was killed in action in German on February 27, 1945.'
