One bound volume compiled by Frederick John Horniman in the Isle of Wright from 1 January 1849 containing entries handwritten by Thomas Knight, Edmund Wheeler, Harvey Thompson Knight, M. A. Horniman (Hamilton), A. H. Gr Ma (Ann Horniman?) Mrs Job Smith, Joseph Radley, Joseph Lucas, Philip Smith, Henry Barton Smith, Frederick Taylor, William Pearce, M. W., Edmund Wheeler, Frederick Candler, H. B. Tilney, P. Tweedy, Stokier Newington Conmore. F.J. Horniman has annotated the album with the full names of the contributors expanding their initials. The notebook contains small postcards and inserts showing locations in the Isle of Wight. The final pages of the volume list Christian names in The New Testament and those in general use with their meanings translated into English.
