One invitation addressed to the Master of the Carpenters’ Company and lady to visit Mr. and Mrs. Horniman “at home” on Wednesday, the 11th of February 1891, between 2.30 to 4.30 pm. A small ending note states that the Museum will be closed for the general public at the specified date and time, for the guests’ convenience.
