One untitled press cutting mentioning a quotation from the Norwood News which considers the location of the Horniman Museum’s collection is unsuitable “such a valuable collection does not appear altogether at home in a suburb like Forest Hill”. The article speculates on that Horniman might consider relocating the collection to somewhere such as Croydon. The end of the article notes that Mr Horniman was dressed in fine evening wear and was photographed by Messrs. G. Taylor and Sons.
